On October 12, 2018, College Park High School hosted their 3rd annual Powder Puff football game. The juniors played the seniors in a hard fought, back and forth, game. The game resulted in an overtime victory for the juniors. The game was filled with emotion and was very competitive. It was an amazing turn out with an energetic crowd getting pumped up by our senior male cheerleaders. If you didn’t make it you missed out on an exciting event.
The stands were filled with a huge enthusiastic crowd. The crowd consisted of mostly students but many parents, family member, supporters,  members of the College Park community and staff attended as well. Due to the great turn out, hot dogs were sold out by the first half of the game!  The enthusiastic crowd added to the overall excitement and intensity of the game.
The Junior team (top photo) consisted of 4 coaches and 16 players, while the senior team had 7 coaches and 30 girls. The participation this year was much better than previous years. The girls and coaches put a lot of heart into the game and went all out and left it all on the field. We are even hoping on playing Alhambra’s powder puff team eventually. Everyone participating in the event had a lot of fun and look forward to the future of powder puff football at College Park.
